Customer management systems for nonprofit organizations (education management systems) are being released one after another. I remember that until a few years ago, there was only a choice between Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM( Dynamics C.R.M.), so I think it’s a good time to say that we’re in the age of The Group. The systems that can be used for supporter management are as follows.
Sansan for NPO（Sansan）
Sansan is a business card management service, not a CRM. I think that NPOs and NGOs that can’t manage their customer rosters with data should start with data. There is a program for NPOs, and the monthly usage fee is 10,000 yen, and up to 5,000 business cards can be used (scanner included). Npo programs are limited to non-profit organizations, public interest incorporated associations (public interest incorporated foundations and public interest incorporated associations), and social welfare corporations. It may be also good for organizations that have already introduced CRM and are not entering or utilizing supporter information.
Kintone (Cybozu)
Cybozu’s NPO program is a program that allows each product of “cybozu.com” (Office, Garoon, Mailwise, kintone) to be used for 50 users and 10,000 yen per year (excluding tax). The target legal entity is a non-profit organization only. Kintone can be used as CRM. This is not exactly a database, but it has a track record of use cases and use as CRM and customer management. It may be a good next step for organizations that manage a list of supporters in Excel
ZOHO (Shin Fundraising Partners)
ZOHO CRM’s NPO pack, which has been in service since March 2017. Eligible legal entities are non-profit organizations (NPOs), accredited non-profit organizations, public interest incorporated foundations, public interest incorporated associations, social welfare corporations, religious corporations, and rehabilitatith protection law persons, and 10 licenses are provided free of charge. The support service is 8,000 yen per month (up to 2 times, 5,000 yen / time for the third or more times, not allowed to be carried forward to the next month).
Salesforce (salesforce.com)
Salesforce’s Product Donation and Discount (Power of Us) program, which no longer requires explanation. The target legal personality can be used by a wide range of non-profit organizations such as non-profit organizations (NPOs), accredited non-profit organizations, public interest incorporated foundations, public interest incorporated associations, social welfare corporations, religious corporations, and rehabilitatith protection law persons. Study sessions by Salesforce utilization organizations, user associations, and pro bono support programs by Salesforce.com employees are also good support for NPOs/NGOs who are concerned about IT skills. Dynamics CRM (Microsoft)
Like Salesforce, Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM offers crms for nonprofits. Eligible organizations should check their eligibility for the Microsoft Non-Profit Program on their website. The cloud type is available for 1,630 yen/user per month. It is characterized by being able to select not only cloud type but also on-premises type (on-premises server on-premises type).
